Airfreight Export / Sea Air Coordinator - YVR Richmond

Job Description: 
  • Customer order receipt and acceptance
  • Arrange for pickup and transfer of cargo
  • Prepare HAWB, MAWB, Direct AWB and E-AWB
  • Obtain spot rate with airlines
  • Make bookings with airlines
  • Issue Export Declaration (CAED), Certificate of Origin and Insurance Certificate
  • Review documents for accuracy
  • Arrange cargo via Truck service
  • Invoice clients
  • Update job costing in the system
  • Approve subcontractor’s invoices
  • Send pre-alerts to clients and destination office
  • Track and trace shipments
  • E-file all documents
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by answering all inquiries within the same day
  • Other duties as requested by Manager
Requirements: 
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Decision making and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Effective communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Professional phone etiquette
  • Team oriented
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Air Export
  • CIFFA and Dangerous Goods certification is an asset

Availability

  • Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5pm (1-hour lunch)
  • Full-time, permanent position at our YVR Richmond Office
  • Start as soon as possible
