Customer Service Representative

Overview: 

Join our team!! Locher Evers International, industry leading and highly regarded freight forwarder, is growing rapidly! LEI has an immediate opening in our Head Office at Annacis Island (Delta) for a full time Customer Service Representative at our Far East Ocean Imports Department.

Job Description: 
  • Address customer issues and queries for assigned clients.
  • Coordinating with oversea agent re-cargo status inquiry, confirming rate and documentations
  • Keeping clients informed of cargo's status by coordinating with warehouse operations
  • May require to arrange door-to-door deliveries
  • Handling shipping documents and freight collections services
  • A direct liaison between our customers and warehouse staff
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements: 
  • Strong customer service skills
  • experience in inventory control operations an asset
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage time
  • Decision making and problem solving skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Team oriented
  • Time management
  • CIFFA certification is an asset
