Part of EFL’s digital journey includes making it easy for customers to see the impact their freight movement has on the environment. To ensure our customers see our commitment to sustainability and to be proactive in reporting our initiatives, we use a data management system to review customers’ carbon footprints, providing complete transparency and visibility across all levels. We confirm data accuracy by referencing the Global Logistics Emissions Council (GLEC) framework, the only globally recognized methodology for harmonized calculation and reporting of logistics GHG footprints across multimodal supply chains.
Through the Carbon Dashboard, customers receive login credentials and customized dashboard views, where they can enter shipment details and calculate their carbon footprint for air and road shipments.
